تحدث كارلو أنشيلوتي مدرب ريال مدريد قبل مواجهة أوساسونا في نهائي كأس ملك إسبانيا، وعلّق على مستقبله مع النادي الملكي.

ويلتقي ريال مدريد وأوساوسنا غدًا السبت بنهائي كأس ملك إسبانيا، وظهر أنشيلوتي في مؤتمر صحفي قبل اللقاء.

وقال الإيطالي: “خوض المباراة النهائية أمرًا مثيرًا للغاية، بعد المباراة النهائية، أعتقد دائمًا أنه يمكن أن يكون النهائي الأخير، فكرت في الأمر في عام 2003 وأفكر فيه اليوم”.

وأضاف: “لهذا السبب عليك الاستمتاع به، نستعد برغبة وحماس، لقد وصلنا إلى هنا بجدارة كبيرة، عليك الاستمتاع بهذا والحصول على الأفضل غدًا للفوز”.

وأردف: “أتوقع نهائيًا متساويًا وتنافسيًا ضد منافس قوي، نعتقد أن المباراة ستكون صعبة ومعقدة”.

وعن التفكير في مواجهة مانشستر سيتي بنصف نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا، أفاد: “غدًا نلعب دون أن نفكر فيما سيحدث في اليوم التالي، يعتقد اللاعبون نفس الشيء ولديهم دافع كبير، التحضير لهذا الوقت من المباريات مع هذا الفريق أمر بسيط للغاية”.

وبشأن جاهزية لوكا مودريتش، أوضح: “هناك شكوك لدينا، بالأمس تدرب بشكل جيد للغاية، سنقيم ما نقوم به، كانت الأحاسيس بالأمس جيدة جدًا وسنرى بعد التمرين، سيلعب فقط إذا كان جاهزًا مائة بالمائة”.

وعن ديفيد ألابا، أردف أنشيلوتي: “قمنا بتقييم الأمر هذا الأسبوع، هذا جميل جدًا، نعتقد أنه لن يخاطر غدًا، لكن في كرة القدم لسنا متأكدين من أنه لن يتعرض للإصابة، المباراة ستلعب غدًا”.

وتابع: “ما هي المخاطر بالنسبة لي في الأيام الـ 11 المقبلة؟ ألعب نهائي الكأس ودوري أبطال أوروبا قبل النهائي، لا شيء آخر، حياتي على ما يرام، مستقبلي واضح للغاية لأن عقدي ينتهي في عام 2024، وليس غدًا، أشعر بحب غير عادي من قبل النادي بأكمله، الرئيس بيريز وخوسيه أنخيل سانشيز وهذا يكفي بالنسبة لي”.

James Anderson has admitted England’s much-vaunted bowling attack were given a sharp “wake-up call” by the quality of their South African counterparts. The Test series against South Africa had been billed as a battle between the two best bowling attacks in world cricket but there proved to be little comparison as South Africa clinched the series 2-0 and with it usurped England as the No.1 rated Test team.While Anderson and Stuart Broad claimed their wickets at a cost of 40.66 and 39.72 apiece respectively, Vernon Philander and Dale Steyn claimed theirs for 23.66 and 29.20. Graeme Swann claimed only four wickets in the two Tests he played at an eye-watering cost of 77 runs apiece.”It was a huge wake-up call for this bowing attack,” Anderson admitted. “When you get to No.1 you can start believing your own hype and your own press. When people say you are a great bowling attack you can start believing that and this is a huge wake-up call in this series.”We have been truly out-bowled in this series and it shows we have a lot of work to do. Maybe we have got a long way to go.”Despite the defeat, Anderson insisted that Andrew Strauss remained the man to lead England. While England’s captain endured a grim series, averaging just 17.83 and looking increasingly jaded by the Kevin Pietersen debacle, Anderson said the entire dressing room – sans Pietersen – were united in support of Strauss and would back him “to the hilt”.”Andrew Strauss has been pivotal in everything we have achieved,” Anderson said. “He is a huge part of our team. As players I can speak for everyone and say we hope he carries on for a few more years yet. Straussy has got so much respect as a captain and a leader. We have not quite got it right whatever it might be.”Perhaps we have let our standards slip as Straussy said after the game. If you do that you are going to come under pressure.”I don’t think we have shown any complacency. The one thing that got us to No.1 in the world was striving for constant improvement. We were always trying to be better and maybe we rested on our laurels a little bit. We didn’t try and keep improving as we had done in previous years.”I think we were better when we were trying to get to No.1. We were better when we were chasing. We know how to do that.”Anderson remained confident that England could reclaim the top spot, though. It is exciting from that point of view, but we know we have got to do a lot of improving if we want to get back to that No.1 spot.”We got to No.1 in the world with this team and Straussy leading this team. I don’t see why we can’t do it again. Especially with a couple of new guys coming in it is an important phase letting them settle into the team. I thought JB was exceptional this week and he showed real signs of being a world class player. It is exciting we have guys like that coming into the team. We know what it takes to get there so hopefully we can do it again.”Could we do it without Kevin Pietersen? I don’t see why not. We have seen we have talented guys coming through. If he doesn’t play Test cricket against it would be a huge loss because he is such a devastating player but I don’t see why we can’t. Rumman Raees, the left-arm seamer, and the spinners Misbah Khan and Kashif Bhatti shared eight wickets between them to round off the innings in the 42nd over. UBL got off to a shaky start, losing two with just three on board, but Tahir Mughal’s 67 ensured they were out of danger.UBL will meet Quetta Bears in the semis.Group BNasir Awais, the Hyderabad Hawks offspinner, finished with astonishing figures of 5 for 10 off 4.2 overs to send Karachi Zebras crashing to 86 in Hyderabad. Canterbury fast bowler Hamish Bennett has been ruled out of the HRV Cup, New Zealand’s domestic Twenty20 competition, with a back injury. The injury had been troubling Bennett for a few months and he will now undergo medical tests, before a treatment plan is drawn up.”Hamish has been suffering from a lower back injury since the fast bowling camp earlier in the year,” Kim Littlejohn, the New Zealand selector, said. “Unfortunately he has suffered a setback and won’t be fit for to play for the Canterbury Wizards in the upcoming HRV Cup. Kevin Pietersen is unlikely to spend much time in the Surrey dressing room this summer, but faces the prospect of some serious ribbing after falling to a team-mate who was playing for Cambridge MCCU during his comeback match at Fenner’s. To add further spark to Pietersen’s dismissal the bowler who had him caught at slip, Zafar Ansari, is a left-arm spinner.Ansari, 19, is on the Surrey staff and highly rated by the coaching team but on this occasion was playing against the county for his university team. He had one previous first-class wicket to his name so Pietersen was a notable second scalp when he fell shortly after lunch.Pietersen, who was playing his first match since leaving the World Cup with a hernia in March, came to the crease in the 16th over. Unsurprisingly after a lengthy lay-off his innings had scratchy moments but he also struck two straight sixes until he was well caught by Chris Park.Ansari went on to claim an impressive 5 for 33 before Pietersen, captaining what is effectively a Surrey second XI, declared at 234 for 9.After a second innings in this game Pietersen will have a County Championship match against Essex at Whitgift School next to week to increase his preparation ahead of the first Test against Sri Lanka at the end of the month. If Pietersen feels he needs extra batting, and the ECB release him to play, Surrey have a CB40 match against Scotland in Edinburgh on Sunday and another against Hampshire on May 22.
