خرج لاعب الوسط المصري الدولي محمد النني، من حسابات نادي النصر السعودي، بسبب تألق لاعب الوسط البرازيلي لويس جوستافو.

وكان النني ارتبط بقوة بتعزيز وسط المدرب رودي جارسيا في الصيف الماضي، وذكرت التقارير أن إدارة العالمي قررت تأجيل حسم التعاقد مع اللاعب المصري إلى فترة الانتقالات الشتوية في يناير المقبل.

لويس جوستافو قدم عروضًا رائعة مع النصر في بداية الموسم الحالي وسجل 3 أهداف من بينها هدفين في آخر مواجهة للنصر أمام الفيحاء في الجولة الثامنة من دوري روشن السعودي.

وساهم جوستافو في تواجد النصر بالمركز الثاني في جدول ترتيب الدوري السعودي برصيد 19 نقطة بفارق 3 نقاط فقط عن الشباب المتصدر.

Amrabat is a Morocco international who is primarily a defensive midfielder who can also play in a central role.

The 25-year-old is valued at £8.1m by Transfermarkt and has made 45 appearances for the Serie A side after joining back in 2020.

He’s been missing in Fiorentina’s last four league outings and is yet to contribute to a goal for his current employers, with a move to Antonio Conte’s side now looking likely before Monday’s deadline.

The Latest: Agreement reached

According to Corriere Fiorentino, relayed by Sports Witness, Amrabat is ‘more than happy’ to move to Spurs and it will happen ‘barring surprises’.

Conte and Fabio Paratici both ‘rate’ the midfielder, with an ‘agreement reached’ between the two clubs.

It seems as if Tanguy Ndombele has to leave the club first, though, with the report claiming the Frenchman is ‘blocking’ a transfer being finalised.

The Verdict: Needed

Spurs are in desperate need of reinforcements in the final days of the window and have ultimately wasted a lot of time on pursuing Adama Traore, who is in Barcelona ahead of a loan move.

They also look set to miss out on Luis Diaz, so it’s good news that a move for Amrabat is all but sealed, providing Ndombele can seal a move away from north London.

He now looks set to become the club’s third defensive midfielder on the books alongside Oliver Skipp and Harry Winks, so it’ll be interesting to see how Conte uses Amrabat in the second half of the season.

India opener Virender Sehwag has suffered a shoulder injury, which has ruled him out of the ICC World Twenty20 beginning in the West Indies on April 30. Sehwag has been advised rest for three to four weeks, and has been replaced by Tamil Nadu batsman M Vijay in the 15-man squad, the BCCI said in a statement. Gautam Gambhir will be the vice-captain.The BCCI statement, however, did not mention how or when Sehwag sustained the injury but the batsman later said via Twitter that he had a tear in his rotator cuff muscle. Sehwag played all 14 IPL league matches for Delhi Daredevils, scoring 356 runs at an average of 25, his last appearance being on April 18. He was deemed fit when included in the World Twenty20 squad so it’s likely the injury occurred during Delhi’s IPL campaign.The blow is similar to the one India suffered before the 2009 ICC World Twenty20. Sehwag had sustained a shoulder injury during the 2009 IPL in South Africa, shortly before the World Twenty20 was due to begin. He travelled with the squad to England, but was not able to play a game. India were eliminated without winning a game in the second round.His replacement, Vijay, has been in aggressive form for Chennai Super Kings, scoring 417 runs, including a century, at an average of 38. He has been India’s back-up opener for Tests and ODIs as well.

Tottenham are thought to be preparing a summer swoop for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to Football Insider.

The Lowdown: Osimhen profiled

Osimhen is 23 years of age and has been a Napoli player for 18 months following a £67.5m move from Lille.

The Nigerian has scored 19 times in 46 appearances for his current employers and is under contract until 2025.

Also capable of playing on either wing, Osimhen is currently rated at £54m by Transfermarkt, the highest of his career, and it seems as if Tottenham are big admirers.

The Latest: Approach already made

According to Football Insider, who were informed by recruitment sources, Spurs made an approach for Osimhen last month but were knocked back by the Serie A side.

However, the report adds that Spurs chief Fabio Paratici is planning to swoop for the forward once again in the summer with an A-list striker on Spurs’ wishlist.

Antonio Conte wants competition for Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min, with Osimhen valued by his club at a whopping £70m.

The Verdict: A gamble…

Spurs have seen in the past that big-money moves for players abroad don’t always work out, with Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso examples after sealing late loan exits last month.

On that basis, paying a club-record fee for Osimhen could be a gamble, especially with Napoli requesting more than his current market value.

He has no experience of English football and has played just five games in the Champions League.

Conte wants a centre-forward, but perhaps it would make sense to look at cheaper alternatives, especially if Kane remains a Spurs player beyond the summer window.
