أعلن محمد الطويلة رئيس نادي النجوم وعضو الجمعية العمومية عدم خوضه انتخابات الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم خلال هذه الدورة.

وكانت قائمة “إنكار الذات”، برئاسة المهندس سامح فهمي، أعلنت أمس الأحد، خوض انتخابات الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم القادمة. طالع التفاصيل من هنا.

وحدد اتحاد الكرة يوم 5 يناير المقبل، موعدًا لإجراء انتخابات مجلس إدارة جديد، ودعوة 129 ناديًا لحضور الاجتماع تمثل الجمعية العمومية.

وأوضح الطويلة في بيان رسمي أن سبب عدم خوضه الانتخابات هو أن التوقيت غير مناسب، مشيرًا إلى أن قائمة “إنكار الذات” بالكامل، برئاسة سامح فهمي، لن تترشح في الدورة الحالية. بيان محمد الطويلة بشأن اعتذره عن انتخابات اتحاد الكرة:

السادة أعضاء الجمعية العمومية لإتحاد الكرة وجماهيرها …

بعد توقف عامين لعدم وجود مجلس إدارة منتخب يدير الإتحاد وينهي حقبة لجان التطبيع في إدارة الكرة المصرية …

ونظرا لعدم تقدم إلا قائمة واحدة للإنتخابات بعد تراجع عدد من أفضل من لديهم قدرات إدارية مميزة ، وحرصا مني على إتمام العرس الكروي للإنتخابات بشكله الديمقراطي الجديد ، ولعدم إرساء مبدء الفوز بالتذكية ، فقد بذلت جهدا كبيرا في محاوله إقناع الرجل الخلوق والقيادة المميزة الوزير السابق سامح فهمي بالترشح بقائمة نظرا لما أعلمه عن قدراته القيادية وعشقه لكره القدم ، وكان سيادته متحفظا علي مسألة ضيق الوقت الخاص بإختياره مجموعة العمل معه ، خاصة وأن معظم النجوم القادرين على العمل تحت قيادته غير مستوفين لشروط الترشح أو لإندماجهم في عمل به تعارض مصالح مع التواجد بالإتحاد.

وحرصا من سيادته علي آليات العمل التي يمكن أن تسفر عن نجاحات تتناسب وطموحات الجماهير ، الأمر الذي دعاه لتاجيل تقديم أفكاره لصالح الكرة المصرية ، حتي يتوفر له الوقت الكافي لعرضها علي الجمعية العمومية والجماهير المصرية ، متمنيا لمن يحالفه الحظ في الفوز بالإنتخابات النجاح والتوفيق في إعاده إدارة الكرة المصرية بمجلس منتخب بإراده الجمعية العمومية وليس لجنة مؤقته.

وإنني إذ أقدر للمهندس سامح فهمي محاولته لإثراء الوسط الكروي بوجوده لقيادة الكرة المصرية في أول إنتخابات ديمقراطية بعد توقف لمده عامين ، وإنني أؤيد قرار المهندس سامح فهمي وأتضامن معه في عدم خوضنا إنتخابات إتحاد الكرة في هذه الدورة لحين توافر الوقت المناسب، وأتمنى للقائمة التي يحالفها التوفيق بالنجاح أن تنتهز  فرصه إعاده السيادة للكرة المصرية بعودة المجالس المنتخبة ، وأدعوا الجميع للتكاتف معها من أجل تحقيق آمال الجماهير.

وأود أن اثني علي الجهود التي بذلتها الإدارة التنفيذية للإتحاد بحسن الإعداد والتنظيم للعملية الإنتخابية ، طبقا لإرادة الجمعية العمومية.

وفقنا الله جميعا لما فيه الخير لمصرنا الحبيبة …

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled Edinson Cavani out of the Europa League clash with Real Sociedad due to a fresh muscle injury.

Cavani last featured for the Red Devils during the 1-1 draw at struggling West Brom in the Premier League on Sunday and was expected to be fit to face Sociedad on Thursday night after playing the entire game.

The 33-year-old has become one of Solskjaer’s most trusted and consistent performers over the past few months, which is evident because he has started four of their past five Premier League fixtures with two goals to show for his four starts.

Drawing with Sam Allardyce’s side ensured the Red Devils have now conceded 31 goals in the top flight; out of all their closest rivals, only Merseyside clubs Liverpool and Everton have conceded more so far this season.

The draw also extended a run of two games without a win in the Premier League, and Solskjaer confirmed the club’s third-highest goalscorer wouldn’t be available for today’s trip to Sociedad.

“With Paul, he’s recovering well,” said Solskjaer. “He’s starting the treatment and will still be a few weeks, he won’t be playing in February, that’s for sure. So still a few weeks until we see Paul, definitely.

“Apart from that, we have a couple of doubtful ones [to see] if they’ll be fit enough. Anthony and Scott, we’ll have to check them tomorrow. Edinson and Donny definitely not travelling.”

The manager has now a decision to make over who will lead the line in what is sure to be a tough test against the two-time La Liga champions.

At his best, when he is fully fit and firing on all cylinders, Anthony Martial is still one of the club’s best options through the middle, having finished the 2019/20 season as the club’s top scorer with 23 goals in all competitions.

However, that is not the case now, and it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman will keep his place in the starting line-up given his poor run of form this season.

Martial started on the left wing against West Brom on Sunday but struggled to make much of an impression and did little to justify his selection in the first place, before being forced to make way for Mason Greenwood in the second half.

Despite his best efforts, the 25-year-old has been unable to replicate the form that saw him score 23 goals last term, as he took just 40 touches – which was at least 20 fewer than Marcus Rashford, per SofaScore.

He couldn’t complete a single successful dribble and also failed to register a single shot in the entire game, let alone a shot on target, while second-half substitute Greenwood managed at least one during his brief cameo off the bench.

Solskjaer also revealed to reporters ahead of kick-off that there are fitness concerns over Martial, so there’s no guarantee he’s involved from the off tonight, only increasing the struggle on the United boss to find a solution.

Greenwood appeared alongside Solskjaer in the pre-match press conference, which implies fans can expect to see him return to the starting XI against Sociedad tonight.

Admittedly, the 19-year-old himself has struggled in recent weeks, with just one goal in his past 18 Premier League appearances. But he may have a key part to play if Solskjaer can get the best out of him regularly.

Whether Greenwood can step up and be the answer in Cavani’s, and potentially Martial’s, absence remains to be seen. Clearly, though, it’s an unwanted headache to have for such a crucial encounter.

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is set to miss the Premier League clash with Chelsea this afternoon with a knock.

McTominay limped off during United’s 4-0 Europa League win over Real Sociedad, adding to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s ever-growing injury list.

What’s the word?

Solskjaer has subsequently confirmed that McTominay remains sidelined with a minor knock and will once again play no part in United’s trip to Chelsea in what will be a massive injury blow for the Red Devils, having missed the goalless draw with Sociedad at Old Trafford.

However, it wasn’t all bad news, as Solskjaer expects Donny van de Beek to back in time for their trip to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Speaking in his post-match press conference after the game against Real Sociedad, Solskjaer said: “Donny trained today and he felt okay after training so hopefully [there is] no reaction.”

“So he should be with us. It was just a tweak [for Dan]. I need to give him until Saturday or even Sunday so, hopefully, he can shake it off, but I’m not sure.

“They [Pogba and McTominay] are out. They’ve not trained, Edinson hasn’t trained yet, so I wouldn’t be too optimistic about that, but miracles can happen.”

Significant blow for Solskjaer

Given that Solskjaer previously expressed hope that McTominay could be available to play against the Blues, he may have been left feeling a little aggrieved that he will be without a player who has been tipped as the next captain to take over from Harry Maguire.

Of course, with McTominay nursing a lingering issue, it’s easy to understand why the the club legend is being so cautious, as it’s unlikely he will want to aggravate the existing problem in the midst of a busy schedule.

But that will be no small consolation to the Norwegian manager, who will once again be without one of his key men when the Red Devils make the trip to Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

United have drawn one and lost one of the last three games that McTominay has missed, while Gary Neville has stressed the importance of the Scottish international.

He said: “He is emerging and growing.

“He’s someone Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] can rely upon in the big games with Fred and Fernandes in front of them. Then Pogba, Matic and Van de Beek fit in around that.”

The 24-year-old – who is currently valued at £22.5m via Transfermarkt – has been one of the standout performers under Solskjaer, making over 80 appearances across all competitions for the manager, and has continued to grow and develop as a player under his guidance. He has scored seven goals, recording a further assist, across 32 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

Give United’s mounting injury crisis in the midfield, the ongoing situation will be giving Solskjaer a major headache. There’s no doubt the United boss will be concerned about how he is going to cope without the services of one of his star midfielders.

ووفقاً للحساب الرسمي لنادي الفتح علي موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر”: “تعرض 14 لاعبًا من الفريق السعودي بفيروس كورونا، ومن بين هؤلاء بن دبكة لاعب المنتخب الجزائري”.

وأشار إلي أن حالات الكورونا في النادي السعودي وصلت إلى 27.

سفيان بن دبكة يتواجد ضمن القائمة النهائية لمنتخب الجزائر التي أعلنها جمال بلماضي، لخوض غمار منافسات نهائيات كأس أمم إفريقيا.

وتعد إصابة بن دبكة هي الثالثة في منتخب الجزائر، بعد محمد أمين توغاي وحسن بن عيادة.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن منتخب الجزائر يتواجد في المجموعة الخامسة بكأس أمم إفريقيا والتي تضم إلى جواره كوت ديفوار وغينيا الاستوائية وسيراليون.

Luke Edwards has dropped a quite worrying claim on the potential takeover of Newcastle United by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) group.

The Daily Telegraph journalist tweeted: “I’m told this morning all #nufc takeover conversations have been halted by Justin Barnes and the club is, effectively, no longer for sale. Everything paused until relegation matters decided.”

Worry for potential Newcastle takeover

The fact that conversations to do with the potential takeover of the St. James’ Park faithful by the KSA consortium have been halted for now may be a big worry for some fans in the North East.

As Edwards puts into perspective, the Tyneside club is effectively no longer for sale by Mike Ashley until Steve Bruce’s team know their fate at the end of the 2020/21 season in terms of possible relegation from the Premier League down to the EFL Championship.

The Magpies are currently only a mere three points outside of the drop zone on 26 points after 26 games (BBC Sport), and it is far from a guarantee that they will be safe come the end of the term.

If the Toon were to drop down a division, then the prospect of taking over a side down in the Championship may be a far less attractive one for the potential buyers, and Ashley may well have to drop a lot from his original asking price.

Nonetheless, NUFC will be aiming to stay up at least, which could well put the bid back on track.
