أشاد نجم فريق مانشستر يونايتد برونو فرنانديز بأدائهم في مباراة اليوم أمام مانشستر سيتي، في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

وتمكن برونو فرنانديز من تسجيل هدف مانشستر يونايتد الأول، من ركلة جزاء، في الدقيقة الثانية من الشوط الأول.

وقال برونو فرنانديز في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “بي بي سي” العالمية: “من الصعب دائمًا اللعب ضد مانشستر سيتي، فريق صعب مع الكرة، ومن الصعب اللعب ضدهم، اليوم فعلنا كل شيء تقريبًا بشكل مثالي”.

وأضاف البرتغالي: “الأمر لا يتعلق بالفوز على مانشستر سيتي، إنه يتعلق بالفوز في كل مباراة”.

وواصل: “التسجيل في الدقيقة الأولى كان مثاليًا، كان لدينا مساحة أكبر للرد، حافظنا على تركيزنا حتى نهاية المباراة، عندما ندافع جيدًا، نعلم أنه سيكون لدينا فرص للتسجيل”.

[ad_pod ]Some Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter in fury over their side’s ratings on FIFA 20.The popular EA Sports game is almost out, and with that comes the revelation of player ratings, something that doesn’t always go down too well.

In this case, the Palace fans on Twitter really haven’t taken their side’s ratings too well – in fairness to them, they have a decent case.

To name a few peculiar ratings, the Eagles’ £27m striker Christian Benteke is 75-rated, one rating from being a silver card, whereas Jeffrey Schlupp, who made 30 Premier League appearances last season is a 74-rated silver.

One fan asked: “Is this what the world thinks of us?”

Another asked why a number of the Palace players had been downgraded despite amassing a club-record amount of Premier League points last season.

As quoted by The Evening Standard, Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has admitted to feeling slightly jealous at seeing other clubs spend big money in the transfer market.

What did he say?

The Eagles were amongst the lowest spending sides in the Premier League this summer, and despite making £50m from the sale of England U21 international Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the club did not reinvest that money into first-team signings.

Now, Hodgson has bemoaned the level of attention on other clubs, and pointed at the coverage of Newcastle in particular as a key example.

He said: “A lot of teams who claim they don’t spend much money, actually do. Every year I had to read that poor Rafa Benitez, Newcastle don’t spend any money. Of course they spent something like ten times more than we did during that period of time. No one used to write often ‘what a pity Roy Hodgson doesn’t get a lot to spend!’ It was all Rafa and Pochettino. In that respect, I have a certain element of jealousy.”

Miracle worker

Hodgson’s sentiments are certainly understandable. Despite getting that £50m fee for Wan-Bissaka, the Eagles spent a total sum of £6.8m on new arrivals this summer, according to Transfermarkt. Much of the talk surrounding the club revolved around the futures of Wan-Bissaka and Wilfried Zaha, and never really about who the club could actually bring in.

It speaks to a certain level of disrespect about Palace as a club. Newcastle and Benitez and Spurs and Pochettino are the more glamorous names and are likely to receive greater sympathetic coverage. Hodgson’s side simply have to go about their business, and avoid the idea of self-pity.

Keeping the London side in the Premier League with his hands tied behind his back has been the very definition of a miracle job from the former England manager, and it will be up to Steve Parish to reflect on Hodgson’s words and act accordingly in future transfer windows.

Tottenham Hotspur suffered a 2-1 defeat at Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, with James Maddison coming up with a late winner for the Foxes.

Harry Kane had sent Mauricio Pochettino’s side ahead in the 29th minute, but the home side hit back to secure an important three points.

Spurs’ first change of the match occurred in the 67th minute when Victor Wanyama replaced Moussa Sissoko, before Christian Eriksen took the place of Erik Lamela in the 79th minute of the contest.

Lucas Moura was the third player off the away side’s bench, but the Brazil international was only given four minutes plus added time to make an impact.

And it would be fair to say that the Tottenham fans were furious with Pochettino’s decision not to hand Lucas more of a chance to harm Brendan Rodgers’ side at the King Power Stadium.

أكد عثمان ديملي مهاجم برشلونة الإسباني، أنه يمر بموسم أفضل له مع الفريق، بعدما تعافى من الإصابات التي كانت تلحق به خلال السنوات الماضية.

The Athletic’s Phil Hay has expressed his concerns with Leeds and their inability to find a solution to break down Charlton at the weekend – issuing his thoughts on Twitter.

What’s he said?

Typical Leeds. That’s how Saturday afternoon at The Valley felt.

Marcelo Bielsa men dominated possession, perhaps by their most dominating number yet this season at 71.6%.

They also had 19 shots but they failed to score as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat. The Whites got themselves in multiple positions but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Eddie Nketiah and Adam Forshaw went close but they were ultimately left to settle for their first dropped points away from home this season.

It was a game that caused concern, understandably so given they dropped to fourth, but Hay gave his assessment the day after. He said:

Where will the answers come from?

Despite the fact Leeds couldn’t find the back of the net, their lack of ability in finding an answer to Charlton’s resistance was alarming.

It was rather ironic that what fans had demanded didn’t come off either.

Helder Costa has been the topic of debate in recent weeks, as has Nketiah but neither of them were able to cough up the goods.

The former was particularly disappointing in losing possession of the ball 17 times while the Arsenal loanee also missed a wonderful chance at the near post.

Bielsa has teased playing him and Patrick Bamford as a pairing for some time now but they met by a stubborn Addicks defence who were intent on not conceding.

They played well together against Brentford as the former Boro man created the space for Nketiah inside the area but this time there was no such fortune, perhaps because of how little they’ve played alongside each other.

The change to a 3-5-2 system had worked against Stoke last month when they won 3-0 but this was another solution that failed to work.

Perhaps starting Nketiah on his own could work or bringing Tyler Roberts back into the starting XI can provide a fix.

Only time will tell.

وقامت الشرطة التركية بحسب ما ذكرت صحيفة “الصباح” التركية بالتحقيق بما جرى مع، مصطفى محمد، من خلال الكاميرات المراقبة للمكان والتي أظهرت كيف قام السارق بجريمته مع مهاجم الزمالك السابق.

ووضحت الكاميرات أن اللص قد جلس واستغل انشغال، مصطفى محمد، بالحديث مع أحد أصدقاءه وقام بالاستيلاء على حقيبة اليد لمهاجم منتخب مصر الأول.

ونجحت الشرطة التركية في القبض على اللص صباح اليوم، الثلاثاء، بعد تحقيقات استمرت منذ يوم 11 مارس الماضي واستعادة حقيبة يد، مصطفى محمد.
