Durante a sua apresentação oficial com a camisa 44 que usará neste restante de temporada, o defensor não teve como fugir da óbvia pergunta sobre a foto revelada pelo São Paulo em que ele, ainda criança, usa a camisa tricolor na mesma época em que o clube contava com o único outro venezuelano de sua história, o atacante Rondón.

– Eu tirei a foto porque era a época que o clube ganhou a Libertadores e o Mundial em 2005 e meu pai sempre me comprava camisas e dessa vez comprou a do São Paulo. Fui em um treino do Táchira e tirei foto com os jogadores com a camisa do São Paulo – disse Ferraresi.

O zagueiro chega ao São Paulo quase que 15 dias após a chegada do ‘xará’ Bustos, argentino que também pertence ao Grupo City e tem as mesmas condições contratuais que ele para atuar no Morumbi.

Ferraresi, que passou os últimos anos no futebol português – defendeu Porto, Moreirense e Estoril – , precisou acertar renovação de contrato com o conglomerado árabe para acertar a ida ao Tricolor. E comentou na apresentação sobre a demora.

– Quando o São Paulo me contatou eu não podia acreditar, sei o que ele representa para o mundo. Fui vendo como estava a equipe, as competições que estavam jogando, conforme foram avançando as negociações, fui vendo mais coisas e graças a Deus deu certo.

Titular absoluto da seleção venezuelana, Ferraresi admite que pegou referências da cidade com compatriotas que conhecem bem aqui, como o atacante Soteldo, novo reforço do rival Santos, que jogou por quase dois anos na Vila Belmiro.

Será a segunda experiência concreta no futebol sul-americano, já que passou pelo Táchira nas categorias de base e defendeu profissionalmente apenas clubes da Argentina antes de ser comprado pelo City.

-Sei que o futebol sul-americano é muito diferente que da Europa. Na Argentina aprendi muita coisa, como jogar, disputar, jogar o último jogo como se fosse o último. Na Europa aprendi muito taticamente e espero poder mostrar o que aprendi aqui no São Paulo.

Agora oficialmente um integrante do plantel são-paulino, Ferraresi começa outra corrida: para entrar em campo. Parado desde maio, quando a atual temporada europeia começou, quer entrar em forma e no ritmo dos treinos de Rogério Ceni para estar apto a jogar o mais rápido possível.

-Como todos sabem, faz muito tempo que eu não estava em competições, eu treinava sozinho há um mês e depois treinei no Uruguai. Conforme vai passando os dias vou me sentindo melhor e logo devo estar à disposição para ajudar da melhor maneira possível.

Apesar da vontade em estar em campo, o novo camisa 44 poderá atuar pelo Brasileirão e Copa Sul-Americana, competição em que o Tricolor está na semifinal e enfrentará o Atlético-GO, já que estão encerradas as inscrições para a Copa do Brasil, na qual o clube faz o duelo de volta com o América-MG nesta quinta-feira (18), em Belo Horizonte (MG), com a vantagem da vitória por 1 a 0 na ida, no Morumbi.

Antes do venezuelano, o São Paulo contratou na atual janela de transferências os atacantes Marcos Guilherme e Bustos, o goleiro Felipe Alves e o meia Galoppo.

In an extraordinary move, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has requested the ICC to swap venues for two of their league matches in the 2023 ODI World Cup. Pakistan are currently scheduled to play Australia in Bengaluru on October 20, and then Afghanistan in Chennai on October 23 but they have asked for a change where they play Afghanistan in Bengaluru and Australia in Chennai.It is learnt that the PCB offered no specific reason to the ICC for the request, but an internal note accessed by ESPNcricnfo says the venue swap would “make” Pakistan “favourites” in both matches.”Australia in Bengaluru and Afghanistan in Chennai are the two which we should look to get changed as much as possible,” the PCB’s internal note said. “Ideally, we can switch these around. Australia in Chennai and Afghanistan in Bengaluru would make us obvious favourites in both matches.”It could not be confirmed whether the ICC had responded to the PCB request, or, whether it would even consider it. Normally, security is the primary reason for a venue change at an ICC event. For example, during the 2016 T20 World Cup, the original schedule had the India-Pakistan match on March 19 in Dharamsala, but in the absence of a water-tight security assurance from the from Indian government, the match was moved to Kolkata.There is no mention of a security threat in the PCB’s internal note, which was prepared as part of an assessment of the grounds where they will be playing during the World Cup. The New Zealand match, listed on November 5 in Bengaluru, is an “issue” but “not a hill worth dying on.” The internal note cites a bit more concern about the two games Pakistan play in Kolkata, against Bangladesh on October 31 and defending champions England on November 12, the last match of the league phease. It also presents alternative venues that the team would be more comfortable playing.”Lucknow would also be a good ground for us considering the overall numbers there. It’s our government who has to decide, just like when it comes to India, it’s their government that decides when they go to play.”In its email to ICC, the PCB stressed that the Pakistan government would need to give a clearance for all venues. It is learnt that the PCB’s response has played a part in the ICC’s inability to release the World Cup schedule to the public and go live with ticket sales.The next PCB chairman, who is likely to be Zaka Ashraf, will need to have an immediate conversation with Pakistan government. It is understood that ICC has notified the PCB that it cannot afford to wait for much longer before releasing the schedule.

وقال طلعت يوسف في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة اون سبورت: “أنا مع رحيل وسام أبو علي رغم أنه ليس له بديل في الأهلي، في حالة رحيله لا بد من التعاقد مع مهاجم سوبر من الخارج”.

وتابع: “وسام أبو علي تألق في كأس العالم للأندية ولكن لا تضمن هذا التألق على المدى البعيد، ولا تضمن العرض المالي المقدم فيه حاليًا يأتي مرة أخرى”.

وأضاف: “أي نادي في العالم لا بد أن يكون فيه نسبة استثمار في أسلوب آدائه وسياسته، الأندية في مصر تخضع لصوت السوشيال ميديا والمدرجات، إنما لو تفكر بشكل محترف يتم بيع وسام أبو علي، خصوصًا لو هذا الرقم يزيد إلى 12 و13 مليون دولار”.

وأوضح: “محمد علي بن رمضان لديه حضور داخل الملعب عالي جدًا، في وسط الملعب لديه رؤية، واللاعب الذي يلعب في وسط الملعب يحتاج إلى رؤية كاميرا 360 درجة يرى الملعب بالكامل لأنه عندما يتخذ قرارًا يكون القرار في الاتجاه الصحيح، محمد بن رمضان يمتلك ذلك”.

واستطرد: “وصلت لمرحلة من خلال عقلي المشوار التدريبي في حاجة إلى نقطة، لأبدأ مشوار جديد ومرحلة أخرى من الراحة والاستجمام والحياة بشكل عام لم أعشها مع أسرتي، 90% أخذت قرار أن أكتفي بالذي قدمته في الفترة الماضية من التدريب”.

Moeen Ali has called on Michael Vaughan to “step up” in English cricket’s fight against racism, as he opens up publicly for the first time on a historic tweet from Vaughan that suggested Moeen should ask young Muslims if they are terrorists to help make society safer.In a new documentary ‘Is Cricket Racist?’, to be aired on Channel 4 in the UK, Moeen was asked by the presenter Adil Ray what he thought of Vaughan’s tweets from 2017, in which Vaughan first endorsed a Daily Mail column by Piers Morgan arguing Muslims need to root out extremist elements from their communities themselves. At the time, Ray asked Vaughan on Twitter whether he expected Moeen to go around asking Muslims he didn’t know whether they knew terrorists in between matches. Vaughan replied yes, if it helps “our kids future and environment become a safer place”.”It was very silly,” Moeen tells in the documentary of Vaughan’s tweets. “Dumb really. We need people like him to step up for us. As Muslims, or any other faith really. And just be a bit smarter. I think he has also realised that times are changing and he has to change.”Vaughan has apologised for the historic tweets, most recently at the Cricket Discipline Commission (CDC) racism hearings in March. But the Moeen tweet, as well as a few others, formed the central part of the ECB’s case against Vaughan, their lead prosecutor Jane Mulcahy KC arguing that they were “remarkably similar in tone” to the remarks Vaughan was alleged to have made that were at the centre of the hearings. Six other players and support staff, as well as Yorkshire CCC itself,were found guilty in those hearings of having brought the game into disrepute through the use of racist and/or discriminatory language.Since then, a long-awaited independent report has found deep-rooted discrimination within the game in England, on grounds of race, class and gender. The Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC) report “Holding Up a Mirror to Cricket”, published last month, was based on evidence from 4000 people within the game. One of its areas of focus was the lack of representation of British South Asians in professional cricket, despite a much larger participation in recreational cricket.”There’s [British Asian] players out there who are doing better than anyone else,” Moeen says in the documentary. “People won’t sign them for some reason. The South Asian player has to be almost outstanding most of the time, especially as a triallist whereas sometimes a white player doesn’t have to be outstanding, and he is getting signed.”Moeen said Rafiq’s allegations and the consequences since then were part of a “shake-up” the game needed.”Obviously sad [for Rafiq’s experiences], but it also felt like the game needed a shake-up,” he said. “The greatest thing that has come out of it for me is that people have a voice now, whereas before people have been very afraid to say anything.”

وعلم بطولات من مصدر داخل الزمالك، أن إدارة النادي توصلت لاتفاق مع عبد الله السعيد، صانع الألعاب المخضرم، على تجديد عقده لمدة موسمين قادمين، ليكون ضمن مشروع المدير الرياضي جون إدوارد لبناء فريق تنافسي يضم مزيجًا من الشباب والخبرة، خاصة بعد إعلان محمود عبد الرازق شيكابالا اعتزاله رسميًا.

وأوضح المصدر أن التفاوض شهد مرونة من جانب عبد الله السعيد، الذي كان قد طلب في البداية الحصول على 35 مليون جنيه في الموسم الواحد، قبل أن يتم تقريب وجهات النظر، عن طريق جون إدوارد، حتى وصل الطرفان لاتفاق نهائي على التوقيع مقابل 20 مليون جنيه في الموسم، وهو الحد الأقصى الذي يستطيع النادي دفعه في الوقت الحالي.

وأنهى عبد الله السعيد بالفعل إجراءات توقيع العقود، لينضم رسميًا إلى قائمة الزمالك للموسمين المقبلين، في انتظار الإعلان الرسمي خلال أيام، بعد الانتهاء من بعض التفاصيل الخاصة بقيد اللاعبين وتجهيز معسكر الإعداد.

ويواصل الزمالك، ومديره الرياضي جون إدوارد، ترتيب الملفات الخاصة بفريق الكرة، ضمن الاستعداد للموسم الكروي الجديد بعد حسم ملف المدير الفني والتعاقد مع البلجيكي يانيك فيريرا.

انتهت أحداث الشوط الأول بين تشيلسي وباريس سان جيرمان بتقدم كبير للبلوز بثلاثية نظيفة، على ملعب ميتلايف في نهائي كأس العالم للأندية.

وعلى الرغم من فشل الأندية الإنجليزية مثل مانشستر سيتي وليفربول وآرسنال وأستون فيلا في التغلب على باريس سان جيرمان فقد نجح تشيلسي حتى الآن في تسجيل ثلاث أهداف في شوط واحد فقط.

وحقق كول بالمر إحصائية رائعة مع تشيلسي حيث وصل حتى الآن لثماني مساهمات خلال 6 نهائيات فقط، بعد أن سجل هدفين وصنع هدفًا.

وأصبح كول بالمر أول لاعب إنجليزي يسجل ثنائية في نهائي كأس العالم للأندية، وثالث إنجليزي يسجل في نهائي كأس العالم للأندية بعد واين روني في 2008 وفيل فودين في 2023.

ولم يتلق مرمى باريس سان جيرمان قبل مباراة اليوم سوى هدف واحد في نهائي كأس العالم للأندية، ليسجل تشيلسي في المباراة النهائية 3 أهداف في 43 دقيقة.

جدير بالذكر أن تشيلسي صعد للمباراة النهائية بعد فوزه ضد فلومينيسي بهدفين نظيفين، بينما تأهل باريس سان جيرمان بعد اكتساحه ريال مدريد برباعية نظيفة.
