Zé Roberto e Éder marcaram pelos mandantes, enquanto Christian e Renato Kayzer fizeram os gols dos visitantes. Com o placar agregado de 4 a 3, o Furacão avançou às quartas de final do torneio.

Agora, as duas equipes voltam a campo no final de semana, mas pela 15ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. No sábado (7), o Athletico-PR recebe o São Paulo, às 18h. Por outro lado, no domingo (8), o Atlético-GO viaja para enfrentar o Ceará, às 18h15.

Propostas diferentes
Os primeiros 15 minutos mostraram duas equipes com ideias distintas em campo e fora do esperado. Mesmo em vantagem no placar agregado, o Athletico-PR tentou dominar a posse de bola e ditou o ritmo da partida em seu princípio, ainda que não tenha criado grandes chances.

Por sua vez, o Atlético-GO não pareceu incomodado com o tempo sem a bola e poucas vezes pressionou o adversário. A equipe goiana optou pelas descidas em velocidade, mas quando conseguiu finalizar, Natanael estava impedido no lance.

Atlético-GO ensaia pressão
Depois de ficar mais retraído, o Atlético-GO começou a tentar propor mais a partida. Assim, entre 20 e 25 minutos, o time goiano tentou fazer uma blitz e chegou com perigo uma vez. João Paulo acionou Dudu pelo lado direito da área. O lateral dominou e bateu cruzado. A bola bateu em Nicolas e saiu em escanteio.

A tentativa dos donos da casa em se impor diminuiu o domínio do Athletico-PR, que passou a se limitar em marcar e, quando teve a bola, não conseguiu acionar Renato Kayzer. Além disso, as faltas travaram muito a partida na parte intermediária do 1° tempo.

Furacão na frente(ainda mais)
A reta final, assim como todo o decorrer a primeira etapa, indicava que o placar permaneceria em 0 a 0 até o intervalo. Sem muita inspiração, os dois times dividiram a posse de bola e pouco chutaram ao gol.

Entretanto, o cenário mudou aos 44 minutos. Marcinho lançou Nikão. O meia tabelou com Renato Kayzer e rolou para Christian, que chegava livre na entrada da área. O volante bateu de chapa no canto esquerdo de Fernando Miguel, que nada pôde fazer. Assim, o Athletico-PR foi o com o 1 a 0 para o intervalo e 3 a 1 no agradado.

Dragão volta com tudo
O intervalo fez bem para os donos da casa. No retorno, Eduardo Barroca tirou Gabriel Baralhos e colocou mais um atacante: Arthur Gomes. No primeiro lance, o camisa 17 já arriscou uma finalização, mas errou o alvo.

Mais perigoso e constantemente pisando no campo de ataque, o Atlético-GO dominou os primeiros 15 minutos da etapa final e, assim, chegou ao empate. Aos 8, Richard tentou cortar a bola e acabou chutando a perna de Zé Roberto. Aconselhado a olhar o monitor do VAR, Bruno Arleu Araújo marcou a penalidade. Na cobrança, o camisa 9 do Dragão deslocou Breno e fez o 1 a 1.

Troco na mesma moeda e com lei do ex
​O grande problema para o Atlético-GO é que o gol despertou o adversário. O Athletico-PR voltou para o jogo e começou a criar perigo ao gol defendido por Fernando Miguel. Terans obrigou o goleiro a desviar um chute de falta que ainda bateu no travessão. Pouco depois, Kayzer invadiu a área em velocidade e foi derrubado por Éder. O árbitro marcou a penalidade.

Nikão assumiu a responsabilidade da cobrança e bateu firme, rasteiro, no canto esquerdo de Fernando Miguel, que caiu bem e fez a defesa. Entretanto, o VAR analisou o lance e mandou a penalidade voltar devido ao goleiro ter adiantado. O Athletico-PR trocou o batedor, e Renato Kayzer soltou a bomba para recolocar o Furacão em vantagem.

Não valeu!
​A nova desvantagem levou Eduardo Barroca a lançar ainda mais o seu time para o campo de ataque, deixando espaços na defesa. Aos 33 minutos, Renato Kayzer recebeu e tocou para Nikão. O meia tentou o passe, mas a bola desviou na defesa e sobrou para Richard, que tocou para Kayzer fazer o terceiro. Entretanto, o VAR anulou o tento por conta de um impedimento na origem do lance.

Mesmo com o gol anulado, o Athletico-PR continuou criando perigo. Pouco depois, Renato Kayzer recebeu na esquerda e atravessou a bola, que encontrou Nikão do outro lado. O camisa 11 tentou de carrinho, mas isolou.

Atlético-GO iguala, mas é eliminado
Apesar do longo tempo de acréscimo, o Atlético-GO se mostrou abatido com a virada e não conseguiu chegar tantas vezes quanto queria ao gol defendido pelo goleiro Bento.

Na única jogada que acertou, o Dragão conseguiu o empate. Arnaldo alçou na área, Lucão cabeceou para o chão, e Bento fez boa defesa. Na sobra, Éder apareceu livre e mandou para o fundo das redes. Contudo, sem muito tempo para conseguir a virada, o Atlético-GO acabou sendo eliminado.

كشف مصدر داخل نادي الزمالك، أن البرازيلي روجيرو ميكالي مدرب منتخب مصر للشباب مواليد 2005 عاد إلى حسابات مجلس إدارة القلعة البيضاء من جديد لتولي تدريب الفريق في الفترة القادمة.

مجلس إدارة الزمالك ما زال يواصل جهوده في الوقت الحالي، من أجل إيجاد بديل للمدرب البرتغالي جوزيه جوميز الذي قرر الرحيل عن قلعة ميت عقبة قبل نهاية عقده.

جوميز أخطر إدارة الزمالك بالرحيل عن تدريب الفريق مساء الثلاثاء الماضي، ووقع المدرب البرتغالي عقدًا مع فريق الفتح السعودي.

وكان مجلس إدارة الزمالك قرر استبعاد ميكالي من حساباته، لوجود شرط جزائي في عقده، ورغبة النادي في عدم تحمل أي أعباء مالية بخلاف الراتب للجهاز الفني الجديد، وتواصلت إدارة القلعة البيضاء مع السويسري كريستيان جروس.

وأفاد المصدر لـ”بطولات”: “ميكالي عاد من جديد لحسابات الزمالك بعد تدخل أحد المسئولين السابقين بالنادي لدفع قيمة الشرط الجزائي في عقده مع منتخب مصر”.

وأشار إلى أن السويسري كريستيان جروس لم يمنح الزمالك ردًا حتى الآن، مما دفع إدارة النادي للتحرك نحو ميكالي من جديد بعد وجود انفراجة فيما يخص تحمل أحد الداعمين للنادي قيمة الشرط الجزائي.

وقرر الزمالك تعيين جهازًا فنيًا مؤقتًا بقيادة أحمد مجدي المدرب المساعد ومعه حازم إمام الظهير الأيمن السابق للفريق وعماد المندوه مدربًا للحراس.

ويستعد الزمالك لمواجهة المصري، غدًا الأحد، ضمن مواجهات الجولة الثالثة من مباريات دور المجموعات لبطولة كأس الكونفدرالية.

According to journalist Christian Falk, Man United have put Thomas Frank on their list of Ten Hag successors.

The journalist took to X to state that contact has been made between the Manchester club and the Danish manager.

Frank is currently the manager of Brentford, and he has other potential destinations in the pipeline, which suggests he could be on the move this summer.

One of those is Chelsea, who have had meetings with the Bees boss, but their move for the 50-year-old is now unlikely with Enzo Maresca likely to take charge.

Why Man Utd must avoid hiring Frank

Having earned promotion and cemented Brentford as a Premier League club on a small budget, Frank is widely respected as a manager, with pundit Troy Deeney even calling him “outstanding.”

To support just how fantastic of a job he’s done at the Bees, last season they were just two points off achieving European football, finishing in ninth place.

However, without Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo for most of the season, his side – which tends to operate in a 4-3-3 – and style of play have suffered, as they ultimately finished 16th.

This is eight places below where United finished under Ten Hag, but as you can see, the overall statistics prove that he would be a downgrade on the Dutch manager, even despite the Red Devils' torrid campaign.

As displayed above, there isn’t a statistic in the table that suggests that Ratcliffe should ditch Ten Hag and appoint Frank, even if the Red Devils have been completely underwhelming.

Hiring Frank comes with plenty of risks, given that he’s a manager who’s not accustomed to the amount of criticism that he’d receive if he were the boss at Old Trafford.

It’s one of the most scrutinised jobs in world football, where quality, attacking football, and trophies simply have to be delivered each year.

Although the football under Ten Hag this season has been poor, there’s no debating that he knows how to win trophies, a feat that Frank has yet to prove. The only success he has tasted yet as a manager is winning promotion from the Championship.

The current United boss has continuously mentioned that he’s undertaking a project, so to rip up his hard work and start again for Frank, who’s inexperienced at the top of the game, has plenty of risks attached.

In no way whatsoever is Frank a poor manager; in fact, he’s done a simply sublime job, but is he really the man to take United to the next level? Arguably not.

Meanwhile, when it comes to incomings, the likes of Kieran Tierney have been linked with a move in what would be a sensational return. The Scotland international left the Hoops back in 2019, before injuries brought any progress at Arsenal to a crashing halt, and he was sent on loan to Real Sociedad last season. At a career crossroads, Tierney could now reunite with Celtic and Rodgers this summer.

He may not be the only player to reunite with his former club, either. According to Pete O'Rourke of Football Insider, Celtic are now plotting to re-sign Stuart Armstrong this summer following the end of his Southampton contract. A free agent, the midfielder could get the chance to make a sensational return six years after swapping Celtic Park for St Mary's.

Earning a reported £65,000 a week, Armstrong may hope that teams like Celtic are in a position to pay his hefty salary next season, given that they'll be avoiding a transfer fee altogether.

What's more, it's certainly one that Rodgers could get behind, having lavished Armstrong with praise during his time at Celtic, saying (via the Daily Mail): "He’s technically very strong and tactically he understands now how to keep the ball. When I first came in, he gave it away too cheaply.

"He wants to progress to be a player, so we reinforced the possession element of his game. He’s also got a good range of pass, can shoot and is good on set-pieces. So he’s really developing very well and, to put on top of that, he’s a really bright boy."

"Strong" Armstrong can pick up where he left off

Celtic could be primed to win a fourth consecutive Scottish Premiership title next season under Rodgers – and with Armstrong and Tierney picking up medals, it would be quite the twist. Simply put, six years on from Armstrong's exit, not much seems to have changed at the top of Scottish football. And now he can pick up where he left off if he completes a return this summer.
